Training students have become one of the most important activities of the hospital. Nursing students from the government and private colleges come for one day orientation in Leprosy. Physiotherapy and occupational therapy students from National Institute of Orthopaedically handicapped spend 15 days to one month during their internship to learn about Leprosy. Regular classes are taken for students of Nopany Institute as a part of their syllabus of The West Bengal University of Health Sciences. Regular workshops are conducted.
