Dr. Jerry Joshua, Head: Health Programmes of The Leprosy Mission Trust India (TLMTI) is a plastic surgeon. He has worked with TLM for the past 27 years. He is a consultant surgeon to TLMTI.
He had his basic medical training (M.B.,B.S.) in Government Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, his training in general surgery (M.S.) from Christian Medical College, Ludhiana and his training in plastic and reconstructive surgery from Government Stanley Medical College, Chennai.
His current interests lie in surgical rehabilitation in leprosy and other neuropathies, soft tissue reconstruction of the extremities for deformities due to contractures and tissue loss and in hand therapy and podiatry.

HELEN ROBERTS. OPHTHALMOLOGIST (MEDICAL SUPERINTENDENT)

Dr.Helen Roberts has 27 long years working in the Field of leprosy ,specially Medical and Eye complications of Leprosy. She completed her MBBS from Kurnool Medical college, pursued Post graduation in Ophthalmology from Vienna and Mangalore. She has contributed to NLEP as consultant  to AMPLE and MLEC programmes. 

She had done her basic medical training (M.B.,B.S.) from National Medical College, Kolkata. Later on she did her Diploma in Mother and Child Welfare.

She has an experience of more than 25 years.

Her area of interest is Women and Child health and dermatology.

REKHA AGARWAL

Dr. Annamma S. John, Coordinator Research, has worked in The Leprosy Mission for 24 years. She worked in TLM Kolkata hospital for 22 years, looking after leprosy out patients and Inpatients. She started the Dermatology clinic and training initiatives with medical students and Interns and nursing students.
She also worked as ILEP Coordinator for the North eastern started of Manipur Mizoram and Nagaland and as Consultant for four Districts in West Bengal, including Kolkata. She was deputed to Bangladesh as medical Advisor to TLM Bangladesh.
At present she works to  facilitate and encourage research in TLM as a means of improving the quality of our work and developing a learning atmosphere in the organisation.
